Presenting to Executives

It’s one thing to prepare a presentation for your department or team, and another to present to senior management.  While the type of presentation or message may be the same, the audience and their expectations can be significantly different.

So how can you make more of an impact?   What would help you build trust and credibility?

In this BOLD Roundtable, Deborah Bonzell, Associate Director of Global Talent Development at Onyx Pharmaceuticals and former independent consultant and trainer, will provide participants with a tool kit for designing and delivering effective presentations, highlight what differentiates senior level audiences, and offer keys for making a powerful impact in any presentation.

BOLD and HRSF Members and guests are welcome to attend this Roundtable.  Review the basics, learn about effective presentation models and frameworks, and identify skills that will build your credibility with executives.

In this presentation, you will learn:

  • To identify the expectations and preferences of a senior-level audience
  • How to construct a focused presentation that quickly gets to the bottom line
  • To differentiate when and how to use visual aids and handouts appropriately
  • To plan for unexpected interruptions or detours during the meeting
  • how to respond to questions effectively

Come with an executive speaking opportunity in mind and put this practical toolkit to use right away!

Pre-Registration:

  • BOLD Members:  Free (pre-registration required)
  • BOLD Guests and HRSF Members:  $25

BOLD Members may bring guests, and HRSF Members are welcome to attend.  Refreshments will be served.
