Presenting to Executives

In this BOLD Roundtable, Deborah Bonzell, Associate Director of Global Talent Development at Onyx Pharmaceuticals and former independent consultant and trainer, will provide participants with a tool kit for designing and delivering effective presentations, highlight what differentiates senior level audiences, and offer keys for making a powerful impact in any presentation.

Guest Facilitator:
Deborah Bonzell is a learning and development professional with over 20 years of experience in the corporate, non-profit, and higher education sectors. She is currently Associate Director of Global Talent Development for Onyx Pharmaceuticals based in South San Francisco. In her current role, Deborah is spearheading the creation and roll-out of a new communication-focused leadership curriculum called CORE Conversations for Leaders, as well as facilitating numerous team development initiatives throughout the organization. Prior to joining Onyx in May 2012, Deborah operated her own solo consulting practice for 12 years. Her key offerings were in the area of management development, leadership, and communication skills. Kaiser Permanente, UC Berkeley, Stanford University and Google were among her most recent clients; others included Intel Corporation, Ofoto (a Kodak company), Providian Financial and as well as numerous non-profits and small businesses. She also has additional high-tech experience as the former Worldwide Training Manager for Sybase, Inc. (now an SAP company). Deborah earned a Masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University as well as a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Stanford University. She and her husband live in the Oakland Hills, where Deborah has daily opportunity to practice her own communication and leadership skills with their three sons – ages 19, 16 and 11 years.
